More Katie-boo & my purse

Here is Kate making a break for it with my purse.

Here she looks back, offering to trade the purse for something more valuable, such as something fragile, irreplacable, or dangerous. :)

Here she is laughing when the moths flew out of my purse!

Walking & chocolatey goodness

Here is the latest video of Katherine walking - she's doing her usual by carrying a toy in her mouth like a puppy - she always keeps her hands full these days!

Here Kate is eating a forbidden treat - yes that's Daddy feeding her a fudge-sicle. She wasn't too sure about it but kept coming back for more!

Here is a crazy picture that I somehow managed to snap just after a sneeze - just thought it was a cutie face!
Here is polka-dot girl cold-chillin' in the bed - sleepin' in on a Saturday!

Like father, like daughter - she is just as mesmerized as dada watching Crabtree highlights on daddy's Tech website. She loves the Red Raiders!

More daily life pics

Playing with Destiny at Chick-fil-A. Also, in her new wool longies that are super fuzzy & green! They are excellent pj's.

Here is Kate au natural w/ nothing but her teddy bear & necklace (strategically placed, of course!)

Kate loves to play on the bed w/ all the pillows - here are a few shots -

Orangutan girl meets Mr. Bojangles meets Frankenstein (in a really cute way...)

I'm not sure the world is ready for this (not to mention our household!!), but here she is, live & in person (sort of,) walking!!

I know it looks painful but she has had many small crashes on our hardwood & tile floors & survived them all. She rarely cries either - she is a hard worker & strong-willed & usually just keeps going on about her business!

Enjoy!

Wednesday we went to the pumpkin patch with a bunch of other mommies & their babies that we have regular playdates with. It was very windy but cool & finally felt like fall in Texas. Kate loved the pumpkins & crunching
the leaves & straw in her fingers. The only thing she put in her mouth was the gourds - no leaves or straw! Yea!

It was fun and she got to take a little pumpkin home. We had it for about 20 minutes before she took a small nibble out of it. Then, she was a little (ahem...) upset that I wouldn't let her continue to devour her pumpkin. Bad mommy! Otherwise, a great day.

Look Ma, no hands!

I know it's dark (you may want to view this at night or w/ your lights off in the room)- but watch closely & you'll see munchkin-head take some steps w/ no hands! She does this all day long now... a few here, a few there. She's our funny girl. (Please don't mind the piles of clean laundry in the background - it feels like I'm always folding!)

Oops, I did it again...

Kate really tore into some of my zillion old magazines that I'm trying to weed through & get rid of. Here she samples a taste of one, and in the next shot she collapses from her exhausting paper-play.

Another video shot, but with bad news
I forgot you can't turn my camera vertically to take video. Sorry! I'm not very good at this I guess. Got some great footage of Kate at the park today - Kip wanted to send her down the big-girl slide, but I thought she was too little. Turns out, that she has her mama's sense of adventure when it comes to speed & thrill rides & Loooved! the slide! She just kept pointing & squawking when she got to the bottom to 'go again'. Sorry, again, the videos are sideways. I'm still working on that junk.

Action shots of going down the slide

Here is video of Kate at the bottom of the slide - trying to crawl back up to do it again

A photo with her at the bottom, me at the top - do it again!

A cute photo of her sitting alone at the top of the smaller slide

Kate crawling through the tunnel

So precious - enjoying playing with some of the leaves & crunching them between her fingers. She was so good and didn't even try to put many in her mouth! :) I thought she looked so sweet in the shadows of the sunset with no shoes & her bow in her hair. We probably could have done this for 10 minutes if we would have let her just sit there. She was mesmerized by the crunchy leaves!
